The biggest wedding I ever attended to and
it was our Northern Nutcase, Ketan, getting married with the Lovely and the Gorgoeus Rasna!!
We had a Register Wedding and Indian Wedding in
Birmingham on separate day. This was so much fun as we get to spend together as a family for nearly a month!
This wedding was a very unique one as all
the family from my father's side, including the crazy people from Canada, came all together in one room. It may never
happen again :-(
Just a few days before the wedding, us cousins went to Go-Karting.
It was great stuff as it was just the cousins crew hanging out. If you wanna know the results, Ketan came devasting
first. (But Ketan, we all had to let you win because it was your week). Paresh actually came last because
he doesnt follow the rules properly. Daft bugger!! Didnt you understand that over-excited, animated hand
gestures from the Track Supervisor??
Not sure I should say this but on the same night, we went
to the pub and then the fish & chips shop. There were two girls that came past us. Ketan suddenly
opened his eyes and said summat to the girls like "didnt I see you before??" and then also said like "I am getting married
this saturday". When the girls went away, we all teased Ketan about how he really want to pull before he get married
but Ketan wasnt having none of it.
Anyway, back to the wedding
subject. We didnt just enjoyed the wedding day. There were some rituals stuff to do before the wedding.
We saw Ketan becoming La Laa, who is a yellow Teletubby. We had some kool dinners together and always me and Nilesh
finishing last as we took a loooong time to eat. Dharmesh also made sure we had a proper drink EVERY night.
I had to share a bed with Dharmesh during the times in Bradford.
I was a bit wary as he got a BIG SMELLY reputation for farting alot. Cheeky sod advised me to hit him if he does fart
during the night. But I didnt need to as he was sensible. However, the first night, I was so cold as he taken
all the duvet cover. I wasnt amused. On the second night, not on purpose, I actually taken all his duvet......he
he. Oh well, enough of our bedroom stories.
On the Wedding Day, everyone was looking
gashing and smart. For the women, they were bright and colourful. Some were annoyed with colour clashes.....(winking
at cheeky sod!!). Dharmesh spent some time cleaning his white suit in the morning with hair shampoo. Apparently,
there were some red stuff on his suit....tut tut.
What else should I mention about?? Oh yeah,
I got to embarrassed two more people. First, it is Nilesh. What a wimp he is!! On the dance floor on wedding
day, he lifted Dharmesh on his shoulder and suddenly he broken his ribs. He screamed like a girl if you touch
his ribs. He then disappeared for a while, probably bawling his eyes me think. Next is Paresh!!! He has broken the
toilet seat in Motabapa's house as he was vomiting. What another wimp!! Paresh had to thanks Rita for clearing the mess
as he missed the target!! He was not too well after a "few" drinks on the coach on the way home.
The reception on Sunday was the happiest and
the saddest day. While we celebrate Ketan and Rasna's new life together as husband and wife, inside in our heart we
know we won't see some of our family for quite a while. We were so much busy for a month and kept using our sleepless
night to get together. It was definitely worth it. It was also a day of Rakshabandhan and one thing reminded is
when my Bhanu Foy and Ishwaral Nana was dancing together to the theme music and by god....it was pretty tearful.
Lastly, I wanna say BEST OF LUCK to KETAN
& RASNA for their whole life. I learnt from the net that both of you are 59.5% compatible..but who give
the shit eh?
Now I will leave you all the pictures from the link below. If you guys have
some kool pics, please lemme have it to put on this webpage!
