Last June, I completed my BA (Hons) degree in Town and Country Planning at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
I got a 2.1 for my degree. I was awarded two prizes; the Building Prize for an outstanding dissertation and the 'Ede
& Ravenscroft Prize for Outstanding Personal Achievement 2002/2003", which was an award open to all students at the university.
I am now doing the fourth and final year of the four-year town planning programme; Master of Town Planning (MTP). I
will be taking part of the Erasmus exchange programme where I will be studying at the University of Nijmgen in the Netherlands
for six months from January 2004. And last year, I spent two months in Ghana, West Africa doing voluntary work as part
of the National Deaf Children's Society - Jack Ashley Millennium Awards Scheme. I was granted the Fellowship of the
Millennium Awards. Cool eh?!
Ambition: I want to be an international hearing-impaired star!
DELTA:
DELTA was founded in 1980 and I have been involved with them ever since (so I have been told). I remember when
I was a little boy my mum used to take me (and my sister) to strange places for a day or days - and there were children who
were deaf just like me and she would leave me with them (she was giving talks to parents etc). It wasn't when around
1996 when I came (back from the 'dead') to help out at DELTA's Loughborough Summer School that I have been helping out at
DELTA ever since then.... I made some new deaf friends ever since.

like myself and made new deaf friends. Have recently started to help out with other events that delta have orgainsed.
I enjoy helping out with delta looking after children and meeting the parents to chat about my achievements etc. as a hearing
impaired person and give them something positive about their childs future. (Am profoundly deaf).
